Buddy's Story
Buddy has been waiting patiently since March 2025 for a forever family. His story is one of heartbreak that we see all too often. He was bought as a puppy by a foreigner who, after just one year, left the country and abandoned him. With nothing, Buddy struggled to survive on the streets. Kind local people did their best to help, but he suffered from malnutrition and illness, losing weight and becoming covered in ticks and fleas. When we met Buddy, we couldn't help but notice his skinny frame and sad eyes. Despite having been betrayed by a human before, he got in our car and instantly smiled when he received love in the form of head rubs. After a month of treatment for blood parasites, anemia, and severely low platelets, Buddy began showing his sweet personality. He's a friendly, funny, affectionate boy who forms beautiful bonds with people, with a slight preference for ladies. He struggles to make doggy friends, so we're looking for a home with no other pets. Buddy is a big, strong dog, so experience with large breeds is required. Fully vaccinated, neutered, and so ready for love.
